The Fishing Club (Sponsors: Clay White & Nick Fiore)

Description: The club gets kids out on the water and will teach them about the Chesapeake Bay’s ecosystem, food chain, and water patterns. This coincides with the school’s active environmental programs and our strong relationship with the Save the Bay program. Sponsors will incorporate mathematics skills during club meetings and excursions. Students will learn the proper techniques of casting and angling. Club members will learn to about lunar tables, graphing, and using scatter plots.
