Interact Club (Sponsor: Melanie Stefanowicz and the Rotary Club)
Purpose: To provide opportunities for high school students to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding.
Educational Objective: To develop the following: leadership skills, citizenship, responsibility, integrity, respect, and international understanding and goodwill.
Description: The Interact Club is organized, sponsored, and supervised by a Rotary Club and is established to emphasize training in leadership and citizenship. The Interact Club works cooperatively and in harmony with the policies of Rotary International. The club must establish a Standard Interact Club Constitution. Members of the Interact Club must participate in at lease one school service and one community service project per year. Members work with the local Rotary Club to sponsor book drives for the Goodwill Project and any other appropriate service program indicated by student interest. Members participate in leadership training sponsored by the Rotary Club and are invited to train in local businesses
