Key Club (Sponsor: Jeanine Cosh)
Purpose: An international service organization sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club to promote community service and leadership development for high school students.
Educational Objectives: (1) To provide students with the opportunity to learn more about their communities; (2) to develop leadership and good citizenship practices; (3) to develop in students a sense of responsibility for the adult world; and (4) to provide service to the school, faculty, and other students.
Description: Members of the Key Club organized several fundraisers to support a variety of community activities. Members participated during the school year in the following:

Adopt a Family at Christmas,

Collecting materials for the Ronald McDonald House and for Breast Cancer research,

Donation for Autism research,

Sponsor for 19 students from the Queen Elizabeth School (Kirkby Lonsdal, England) who performed at the Folger Theater,

Served meals at the Lighthouse Shelter,
-
Gift-wrapping for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation,
-
Visitations to the children’s hospital.
